SURPRISE!

SO, remember that post I did a while ago, telling you about a secret Kellee and I had?
WELL, the secret has been revealed! Kellee and I made Easter baskets for our roommates! We bought candy and a few small things like lotion, nail polish, and a Justin Bieber movie for Leilani [she's such a fan]. It was so exciting to see the joy and surprise in their face when they found them next to their room doors! [We had to give them to the girls now because Kellee will be out of town this weekend].


It always feels good to do something for someone that makes them happy! I love service!!

I'm Likin' Our Hikin'

So I finally did the 'must-do' hike of BYU-

THE HIKE TO THE 'Y'!!!!!!!

Marcus and I really wanted to go do something outside today because it was actually a nice day after it decided to stop being lame. He finished his last final (I FINISHED MINE YESTERDAY) and then around 6:30, we were dropped off by Kellee and we began our perilous journey up the mountain...

okay, so it wasn't exactly perilous.... but it was cold and windy and the switchbacks killed me.

I had so much fun though, and the end result was so worth it. Because of the weather, we were the only ones up there, which was nice. We enjoyed the beautiful view of Provo/Orem/Springville and ate some snacks we brought along.

After about 30 minutes of violent shivering, we decided to head home.

Rather than call Kellee to come back and pick us up, we kept up with the hiking spirit and walked home... which is about 3 or 4 miles from the trail head. It was really good to just walk though.

We got to enjoy nature and each others company- we even saw some cool wild life.

Conversation is always good with Marcus and we had a good time laughing and talking about how ready we are for Spring and Summer. Overall, it was a joyous day. I wouldn't change a thing about it. I love my friends (:

Mission Possible

So, funny story. Remember Kim Possible, the teenage redheaded spy with the dim witted sidekick Ron? She had this cool little ring tone that went off whenever she had a new mission to go complete- it sounded something like

dee-dee-deedee!

Well, I set my text message ring tone to the very same one so whenever I get a text message I feel like a spy [yeah, this is what my life has come to].

This morning, my friend in Florida decided to text me. I was deep in sleep when this occurred and my volume was all the way up to wake me when my alarm went off. When my notification sound went off [aka my spy alert], I sat straight up, confused at where I was and screamed out:

"Dangit what's the sitch! I don't have time for another mission!"

Yeah. I really yelled that. After a moment of silence and realizing what was going on, I became super embarrassed with myself and went back to sleep. I wonder what I was dreaming about....
